Frankston Special Developmental School offers an Early Education Program specifically designed for pre-school children with significant developmental delay. The program caters for children that are 4 years old by the 30th of April.

- Duration:6 hours per week
The program offers:
- A developmental play focus with ongoing assessment.
- Toilet training program.
- Access to specialised communication methods, such as Picture Exchange Communication System, alternative and augmentative speech generated devices.
- Independent living skills including toileting, eating and dressing.
- Parent Support.
The school supports families in choosing an appropriate school-age placement.
