Room 4

Staff: Marion, Marina and Sheryl

 A big welcome to Room 4. The busier the better is our motto this year!

Our room works very closely with specialists and therapists so our program is full. There is a big focus on mobility and physical fitness as well as promoting an enjoyment for music and art.

These form the basis for the student’s potential to learn and develop.

Me and My Family was th theme we worked on during 1st Term. We enjoyed lots of stories and songs relaterd to the theme and worked hard on naming our body parts. We decorated our room with the student's body shapes and did a number of hand and foot prints on paper using paint. We also collected family photos and chatted about them. The term ended with an Easter Bonnet Parade and Easter Hunt which was enjoyed by all!

In term two we enjoyed the mobile farm visiting our school and got to experience feeding and patting some of the animals including guinea pigs, rabbits, a turtle and ducks.
