Room 3

Staff: Rowena and Anne 

Room 3 is a fantastic group of 5 and 6 years olds. 

 We are always busy learning and exploring.  We practice our community behaviors with weekly shopping skills. 

We enjoy cooking something yummy every week which we share with our friends at a tea party. 

We also like to dance and enjoy music, and we love to go gardening with Anne and collect the school compost.

Room 3's theme for term one was 'All About Me'. we made a book all about ourselves as a record of our skills at teh beginning of the year. We measured our height, wrote our names, weighed ourselves, stamped our foot and hand prints, demonstrated our cutting skills and our number skills. We will have a look at our books at the end of the year to see how much we have grown and progressed. It was a fun exercise of exploration.

We featured at one of the assemblys in Term 3 doing a performance for the rest of the school to enjoy.

In Term 3 we have worked hard on the Music Festival item we performed in August.
