Room 14

Welcome to Room 14 or as we like to be called, Work Prep! We are a group of 11 students preparing to leave school in the near future. We do this is many ways. Some of us have been doing work placements at Ozanam, Coles and the Meals on Wheels Kitchen. We are working towards being independant at these work placements.
On Thursdays we do travel training as a group and make our way into Frankston on the public bus to go bowling. We also prepare the food for the school canteen that the other students buy each week. In order to do this we first buy the ingredients at the supermarket at the Hub. On Fridays we particpate in the inter school sports playing against other special schools. This year we have played a variety of sports including football, netball, soccer, indoor cricket, basketbal and t-ball. We culminate the term with a carnival or round robin which we always play with great sportsmanship.
