Staff: Nicky and Wendy

We have 11 students in our class and we are a very busy bunch!

We do Work Experience by rolling and delivering newspapers to the local neighbourhood. We are learning to recognise and use money and shop at the Karingal Hub and we are the best basketballers ever. We play in the special schools competition at Frankston Basketball Stadium every Friday morning and work on our skills at lunchtimes at school. 

We have gone on some great excursions to the Grand Prix and to see the V8 race cars at Sandown. We have used some terrific local parks and worked on our ten pin bowling skills at Frankston Bowl.

Some of our favourite things at school are the homecrafts program, PE where we have learnt the skills to play some new sports, IT where we have gained the knowledge to use the ipods independantly and using some new programs on the computer, Art where we have produced some amazing and original pieces of art work and working on our writing and number skills in the room.

We look forward to Terms 3 and 4 where we will continue these great programs and can't wait for our camp to Blackwood in November!!
