Sandown V8s
In July some of the Senior students ventured out to Sandown raceway for the day. There we got to experience first hand the excitement and the noise of the V8 Supercars! They were practicing for their races on that weekend and went really fast! We also got to see some utes and motorbikes doing some stunts. On that day we were able to wander out the back of the pits and see some of the cars close up.
Junior Music Festival
In August it was the Juniors turn to display their skills at the Annual Special Schools Music Festival. Our routine this year was about Space and all of the Junior classes had worked exceptionally hard to perfect the routine. The Staff also worked hard getting all the props and costumes ready for the big day. The students excelled and di Frankston Special Developmental School proud again. Photos to follow soon.
Room 14 Queensland Camp

On Monday the 7th September 2009, 10 students from Rm 14 and one student from Rm 8 headed for the Gold Coast, for an Adventurous Journey as part of achiving their BRIDGE AWARD 2. We hope we have captured some of the exciting and for many first time experiences. First time in an aeroplane, first time away in another State, first time away from family for five days, and first time to experience some of the wonderful attractions The Gold Coast has to offer.
